Career Acadamies of Northwest Florida

Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties have been designated by Ford Motor Company Fund as a Next Generation Learning Community due to a unique alignment among business, industry and education and because of our efforts to create a "dual county" career academy system that prepare students for high-skill, high-wage careers in the targeted industries for economic development in our region.

Middle and High School students

• Career Academies make the connection to college and a career.
• Students can earn college credits while still in high school . . . free!
• Students can choose a major early, getting a great education AND developing a skill!
• Students can earn industry certifications while in high school that make them more valuable in the marketplace!
